OASIS FOR PUBLIX
The Oasis for Publix or Publix Oasis also known as Publix Passport is an online portal for Publix supermarket. With this portal employees can check their schedules or payslips and more.
The Publix Oasis also provides a highly effective means of communication between the company and its employees.
The Publix Oasis is a computer programmed system that creates the store’s working schedule based on its own needs. It also contains various phone numbers for portal support in case an employee needs help with a certain problem regarding the schedule, payment plan, and even retirement or is facing a technical onsite issue.
PUBLIX FREE MEDS
The first Publix in-store pharmacy was opened on October 30, 1968, in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
By 1995, one-third of Publix stores had a pharmacy, and today approximately 90% of Publix stores include a pharmacy. In 2018 Fortune ranked Publix No. 1 on their 2018 list of the World’s Most Admired Companies in the Food and drug sector.
Then in August 2007, Publix announced that it will start offering the Publix free Antibiotics and Publix free Meds both of which involve a certain series of drugs and antibiotics which include:
- Amoxicillin (excluding Amoxicillin/clavulanic acid)-Antibiotic
- Ampicillin – Antibiotic
- Penicillin VK – Antibiotics
- Lisinopril (An ace inhibitor used to prevent, treat, or improve symptoms of high blood pressure, heart conditions, and chronic conditions)-Drug
- Amlodipine (A calcium channel blocker used to treat high blood pressure and chest pain)
